Where & when is UKSTAR

The 2019 UKSTAR Software Testing Conference is taking place in etc. Venue, 155 Bishopsgate situated in London tech city in East London. The locations is easily accessible located very near Liverpool St Station, and is accessible by bus, train and from all London Airports; Gatwick, Stanstead, Heathrow.

Please note that for 2020 we will be hosting a new event in Dublin called Test & Quality Summit. This international one day summit will take place on 29 April 2020 in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin City. Thank you to everyone who has been part of UKSTAR these past 3 years and we look forward to planning for 2021!

What are the days and opening hours?

The Conference takes place on Monday 11th March and Tuesday 12th March 2019.

I don't know anyone attending UKSTAR - Should I still attend?

Absolutely! UKSTAR conference prides itself for being a fun, community event, whereby testers can come together to share stories and experiences, meet new people and see old friends.

Want to Speak at UKSTAR?

Anyone can submit to speak at the UKTAR Conference. Submissions are reviewed by an independent review panel of experienced software testers – the Programme Committee.  The best scoring submissions are then used to compile the programme.  The Call for Speakers for the 2020 conference will be announced at the 2019 Conference.

How does someone get on the review panel for the conference?

If you would like to be considered for a place on the 2020 independent review panel, please send your letter of application to [email protected] stating why you believe you would be a suitable reviewer.

How do I collect my Delegate Badge?

Once you have registered for the conference, we will send you instructions on how to collect your badge.

Your badge can be collected at the Conference on your first day of attendance. It will help to have some form of identification to hand when registering.

We will also forward guidelines aimed at helping you get the most from your time at the conference. These will be emailed to you in February.

How do I get to London?

London  is easy to reach from anywhere in the world.  You can fly to any of the London airports and take a taxi , train or bus to the venue. See our travel page for more detailed ways of getting to the UKSTAR Conference.

Where should I stay?

Are there discounts available?

Promotional offers are available during the year.  If there are discounts available, coupons will appear in the check-out cart.  Keep up-to-date on discounts on the UKSTAR social media channels.

I want to bring my team. What group offers are available?

If you want to bring your team, we currently have a group offer available for UKSTAR attendees. Book 3 2-day conference tickets and save 20%.  Simply book your 3 tickets , a coupon will display and the system will then deduct 20%.

What are the Payment Options?

All prices are in GBP (£) and exclude VAT. We accept payment via credit card or by invoice – in the case of invoice you have 30 days to make payment. In the month preceding the conference, the invoice payment method is unavailable.

I need to cancel my ticket. What can I do?

If you know of someone else to go, you can change the name on the ticket at no cost?

Cancellations made prior to 9th February 2019 are subject to a 20% administration fee. From 10th February to 5th March 2019, cancellations are subject to a 50% administration fee. Thereafter no refunds will be made including in instances of non-attendance.

Can I change the name on my ticket?

You can change the name on your ticket at no extra cost. This must be completed by 2nd March 2019.

Is there a way to attend the conference for free?

Yes, each year there are several opportunities to secure a free place at the Conference. Throughout the year we run a number of competitions – some of which offer prizes of free places at the UKSTAR Conference.   Stay tuned to the UKSTAR Conference blog and social media accounts for details.

Do you have a Code of Conduct?

Is there Wifi at the Conference?

There is Wi-Fi available throughout the venue and you will be provided with the access code in your conference information on arrival at the venue.
