“I don’t believe in your tests”: Documenting exploratory testing

Modern technologies and software evolve rapidly – it’s a known fact. To adjust to the pace the way of working on software developmet also needed to evolve. That is how the industry came up with all the agile world. Taking that into account it is no suprise that exploratory testing became a widespread method for performing testing activities – using strcutured/scripted testing became ineffective. The challenge though is to present and sell it well to the customer. Working closely with different parties as a PM and QA Lead I came across such problem frequently. During my talk I will present how we handled it on several occasions, as we did some experimenting in a strive for finding the most useful method.
