Role in Company: Senior Test Consultant
This talk is paired with DataEthics: We don’t cross that bridge when we get there! as part of a conversation track on Information Ethics.
Robots will enter our day-to-day lives in the next couple of years. Both in physical form (e.g. humanoid robots or a robot-vacuum-cleaner) as like chatbots and other intelligent IT-systems.
These will bring new challenges. In this session I will introduce the topic in order for us to have a good basis to discuss topics such as:
– When a self-driving-car can’t avoid a collision, who should the car protect, the passenger in the car or the pedestrian that’s crossing the street?
– Will we allow IT-systems to return loving feelings of the users (like it is shown in the movie “Her”)?
– Who is responsible if your smart-agent buys you a theater-ticket for a show that fits your profile but you simply don’t feel like going there?
