Speaker Biography
I am a “software engineer” at Rabobank, which basically means I do what I need to to ensure we deliver a quality product to our stakeholders. Testing to me has always been about exploring, and so I apply that to this somewhat ambiguous role and am always on the lookout for new and improved ways of testing.
I am constantly experimenting with new creative ways to do my job, and I believe one of the best ways to find that is through discussing new ideas with other professionals. As such, I hope my presentations are as much a learning experience for me as they are for you.
Presentation Description
This is the story of how I moved from a structured data warehouse team to an absolutely chaotic reporting team and what I had to learn along the way. It has bugs! Drama! Cultural misunderstanding! Potentially applicable situational lessons which can be applied to a number of people going through similar shifts!
I’d give it three stars at the cinema. I’m not telling out of how many.
This session is one of three stories presented by three different people in a storytelling track.
