We’re Back! Did you miss us? 😊
We are delighted to return to London on the 12 – 13 March 2018 for the second year of UKSTAR!
London is where we started this journey and to London we return.
While the city remains the same, there will be a few changes to UKSTAR.
Firstly, the venue; etc. venue, 155 Bishopsgate, Liverpool Street, London
Why the change of venue, you might ask? For those of you who attended the very first UKSTAR last February, you’ll no doubt remember the fantastic view of Big Ben from the conference windows, and while we also loved this view, we were a little cramped…
This year we’ve decided to move UKSTAR to Liverpool Street to allow for more space. Don’t worry though, we won’t be going too much bigger, we still want to keep that cosy community atmosphere, just with a little more breathing room.
The venue is not the only change we’ve made for UKSTAR 2018 though. Most of you have probably noticed our UKSTAR bugman has had a change of uniform. Now shining in his bright blue jacket we’ll be changing the colour scheme from pink to blue, for a fresh new look.
Storytelling sessions are the newest addition to the UKSTAR schedule; these 8 minute sharing sessions allow you to very quickly present your core ideas and experiences as a tester. To find out what types of storytellers we’re looking for as well as more information on all of our other sessions, you can check out our call for speakers information.
Lastly, our new committee; Alan Richardson, Mike Jarred and Nathalie van Delft will betaking charge and hand selecting a brand new lineup of speakers to inspire and educate the testers of today and leaders of tomorrow. There’s sure to be a whole host of amazing speakers to learn from in March!
We’re looking forward meeting everyone at UKSTAR 2018. We hope to see you there! 😃
